Extolla has announced a new partnership with LaFayette Engineering to relaunch Attabotics’ robotic cube storage technology across the Asia-Pacific region, marking a significant step forward for high-density warehouse automation in the local market.
The relaunch will be formally introduced at CeMAT Australia in June, where Extolla will present the Attabotics system to industry leaders across retail, distribution, manufacturing, and third-party logistics.
Attabotics, known for its compact, 3D vertical storage system powered by autonomous robots, has undergone a strategic transition following a board-led review in 2025 related to funding and governance structures. Now under the ownership of LaFayette Engineering, the business is positioned to re-enter global markets with renewed focus, strengthened operational backing, and an expanded delivery capability.
Renewed Focus on High-Density Automation
The Attabotics system offers an alternative to traditional aisle-based warehousing, using a 3D grid structure and robotic shuttles to increase storage density while reducing building footprint. The approach is particularly suited to urban distribution environments where space constraints and throughput demands continue to intensify.
Extolla will work with Lafayette Engineering as APAC partner and implementation specialist, responsible for solution design, integration, and deployment across the region.
Peter Kendall, CEO of Extolla, said the relaunch comes at a critical time for supply chains:

“Across APAC, we’re seeing sustained pressure on warehouse capacity, labour availability, and service expectations.
Technologies like Attabotics provide a practical pathway to increase density and throughput without expanding physical footprint.
With LaFayette Engineering now backing the platform, we see a strong opportunity to bring the game-changing Attabotics high-density solution, coupled with Lafayette’s long history of supply chain solutions delivery, to the APAC market.”
Positioning for APAC Growth
The reintroduction of Attabotics into APAC aligns with broader industry trends, including:
- Increased demand for automation driven by eCommerce growth
- Rising warehouse land and construction costs
- Ongoing labour shortages and cost inflation across logistics operations
- A shift toward scalable, modular automation solutions
Extolla’s delivery model, spanning consulting, implementation, and operational support, is expected to support organisations evaluating next-generation ASRS solutions.
Mark Dickinson, SVP of Attabotics, noted that the acquisition is focused on scaling the technology globally through experienced integration partners:

“Our focus is on ensuring the Attabotics platform is supported by strong engineering capability and regional expertise.
Partnerships such as Extolla are critical to delivering successful outcomes for customers.”
CeMAT Australia Showcase
At CeMAT Australia, Extolla will showcase the Attabotics system as part of its market offerings, providing attendees with insight into how cube-based storage can be applied across a range of use cases, from retail distribution to manufacturing supply chains.
The event will serve as the official reintroduction of the technology to the APAC market following its transition to new ownership.
Industry Outlook
With renewed investment and ownership, Attabotics is expected to re-establish momentum in global markets. For APAC supply chain operators, the relaunch provides access to a proven high-density automation solution supported by a local implementation partner.
As supply chains continue to evolve, solutions that maximise space utilisation while improving efficiency are likely to remain a key focus area for investment.
