
Dr Andy Sun – Extolla’s UNSDG Project Ambassador
Extolla is proud to introduce Dr Andy Sun, our Hong Kong based Senior Director who has recently been appointed a United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) Project Ambassador for China and Hong Kong by The Austrian Albert Schweitzer Society.
Over the past decade, Andy has been working with sustainability projects for local and global organisations across Asia Pacific, Middle East and African nations. We would like to congratulate Andy on this most worthy appointment. His achievements in leading sustainability projects for organisations around the world are impressive and humbling. With such importance given for all nations and industry to implement changes to assist in keeping our planet sustainable, Andy’s work is especially and increasingly important. We know he will continue to help prepare businesses for the future UN set sustainable development goals and inevitably, the climate-related supply chain challenges that lie ahead.
The UNSDG panel recognised Andy’s achievements in leading several sustainability projects in supply chain management, with initiatives on leading innovative best practices related to:
- sustainable procurement and operations
- lowest milage and energy efficiency measures
- sustainable footprint assessments
- renewable energy
- employee engagement programs and sustainability workshops
- new building guidelines employment with advanced technology and architecture to drive
sustainable designs
Celebrating Andy’s appointment, the China Chapter President of The Austrian Albert Schweitzer Society said, “We need to prepare and educate more organisations, so that they can use their energy and creativity to empower their sustainable development goals set by United Nations in the years ahead.
